2. Here are the workers, who I have nick-named the eternal sanders, striping the aluminum, ready to paint. They seem to taking ages, but they are doing a good job. We buy them a cokes and keep saying what a great job they are doing, hoping they'll go a little faster, but it doesn't work.
1. Here I am taking the old trampolines off, the beams will be painted before we fit the new tramps.

G and T's

Here we are, doing what we do best, sipping cool Gin and Tonics after a hard day!
We are sat at our favourite restaurant 'Pineapple' in Netsel Marina, Marmaris, where the staff remember us, from six years ago.

Working on "No Rehearsal'

Daryl is touching up the copper coat anti-fouling on the bow-thruster. You can never have enough paint on the hull!

And here's me doing a bit of rope-work in the cockpit. The tan is coming along nicely!

Woken up by a dawn chorus of swallows in the rigging, what a lovely song to wake up to.
Still working hard, but meeting lots of interesting cruising people too.

Well here we are in Marmaris, "No Rehearsal' is still out of the water and as you can see, most of the other boats have gone.

But the sun is hot and we are slowly working through the job list and getting a tan at the same time!

When we think we have done enough we adjourn to the pool to get wet and cool. We hope to be ready to launch is about three weeks.

In England we stayed with Daryl's son Ben, and wife Karin in Lymington. The weather was beautiful so we had a b'que and Pimms to celebrate Karin's birthday. Daryl managed to set fire to the b'que, but luckily there was a hose to hand!

We managed to go sailing on the eve of our departure (We know how to cram things in!) Thanks to Adrian and his boat 'Snoopy' Followed by drinks and dinner at the yacht club, great evening.

Had a good journey to London, Air NZ provided us with a flat bed to sleep on, tasty food and rather too much bubbles!!
Now catching up with good friend Val here. The weather is warm and sunny and Wimbledon is live!
Also, just starting to remember things forgotten! Oops too late!
